What We Do

Specialist Aids & Adaptations

Faced with an ageing population, it is vital that the residential sector – particularly social housing – provides safe, supportive environments that allow people to move freely and enjoy a greater quality of life for longer. And the same is true for disabled or otherwise vulnerable residents, who value their comfort and independence, but who require sensitive, sympathetic adaptations to be made to their surroundings.

Our experienced Aids & Adaptations department know that these alterations are as unique as the people who need them, so we do not try to apply a “one size fits all approach”. Instead, we recognise that people become vulnerable for different reasons, at different stages of their lives, and we conduct site-specific risk assessments and safeguarding procedures to make sure that our services meet a diverse range of needs.

From the installation of handrails and access ramps, to larger work like kitchen and bathroom adaptations, and lift or hoist installations; we accommodate all needs.
