5 Year Partnership Framework Street Properties, Hidden Homes And Major Voids

Project Details
Following a comprehensive tendering process Saltash were successful in securing works on a five year partnering framework with the London Borough of Southwark.  
 
The works will include major refurbishment works, hidden homes and street properties and the refurbishment and rectification works required to bring void properties back to decent homes standards.

 
FIRST PHASE – Drover’s Place

Currently on site, works will include the general external repair and internal improvement of the 207no properties located in Drover’s Place.
 
Properties are to be  brought up to the decent homes standards, which will include electrical, mechanical, bathroom and kitchen refurbishment.  
 
The project will include the refitting of kitchens, the upgrade or rewiring of the property dependant on the results of an electrical survey, the replacement of the heating system and various associated cold water service systems.
 
The external works will include the refurbishment of windows and doors, full external redecoration, the repair of stonework, masonry, render etc, roof repairs including in some instances the replacement of the roof.
 
The intension is to work logically from number one to the highest number in the road in numeric order, therefore the two pilot properties will be numbers one and two.
 
The team recently held a resident’s workshop and pre start meeting for the resident’s to get a full feel for the works and to raise any issues.
